In the land of Superbia strict rules devide the societies of women and men, maintained also physically by the Milk River originating from the Cow God. Different customs and manners estrange the sexes far apart, the strong and sturdy women on one side and the decent and delicate men on the other. The story follows three main characters. A man and a woman find their ways to each other against all odds. Their actions become the catalyst of change within the societies, sparking a cultural revolution. The third and most conflicted character is a nemesis female character who does not want or does not know how to adapt to a coming, unknown new era.
